<p>Love is a complicated thing, <a href="https://nlscongress2020.com/">nlscongress2020.com</a> especially when you're in the wrong relationship. "THE STORY BEHIND US" is a story about how Gina (Lilliana Yunes) and Jorge (Alberto Ocampo) meet in the most random circumstances but finding each other liking themselves. Gina realizes she is not happy with Ron (Aung Maw) because both of them don't complement each other. She has an odd sense of humor, and he prefers something else. Even more, Ron falls in love with Gina's best friend Angela (Nika Tolbert) who is in the middle of a messy divorce. Angela finds in Ron an exit to her misery but causes her best friend to suffer. Ron decides to be with Angela and confronts Gina. Gina Meets Jorge at a Karaoke using her odd sense of humor to find he also has a similar taste in jokes. Both engage in a battle of wits that sends them in a path of falling for each other. Gina constantly thinks of Ron, but this new feeling for Jorge sends her down a path she never thought possible. Both have to confront their feelings. The storytelling is not linear. Events are presented in non-chronological time so the audience has to try to understand who cheated on who. As the movie moves along, perceptions can change when you're watching the story. Who would cheat on who is the central question, and who you'll root to end up together at the end of the film?</p>
